SUMMARY:First Float to the Fire 2023
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, May 25\, you are invited to a Thursday night float from the Yanney Park landing to Kearney Paddle Sports where we will enjoy a fire and some social time as a group\, be sure to bring a beverage and a chair. Leave a vehicle at Kearney Paddle Sports beforehand and plan on launching around 6:30 pm. If you’re early that’s fine\, if you arrive later that’s also fine\, we will see you at the fire. We encourage everyone to arrange transport but there will be plenty of people with whom to catch a ride\, so no worries. \nKearney Paddle Sports is located at 535 Avenue M\, Kearney NE. Jason Thee will have 2023 season passes available for purchase and he has told the KWA board that there will be deals for KWA members. \nWhen you arrive at this location just follow the sign on Ave. M East through the RV park\, the road will dead-end at the KPS parking lot. We’re looking forward to seeing all the new apparel that was purchased earlier this spring. Bring a friend! See you there!
