SUMMARY:2022 Give Where You Live
DESCRIPTION:KWA has gotten great community support since the first Give Where You Live in 2013. We would like to ask for your ongoing support as we look to continue to improve the Kearney Water Trail.\nProject Background\nOver the past ten years the Kearney Whitewater Association has worked toward developing a water trail with whitewater features in Kearney. Previous Give Where You Live events have helped fund two public landings which completed Phase I of the Kearney Water Trail. Give Where You Live donations also allowed Kearney Whitewater Association to contribute to the transformation near the 2nd Avenue area when two whitewater features were constructed last spring. \nImmediate Project Goals\nKWA is continually looking to the future to make improvements and enhancements to the water trail. Some of these developments include extending the water trail\, adding more public access\, improving boater safety\, implementing conservation practices\, and performing more cleanups in and around the stream.\nConsider donating to the cause if you would like to see further development of this type of recreation in Kearney. With a donation\, YOU can continue to change the future for Kearney. 100% of the donations will go directly to these types of projects.\nThe Kearney Whitewater Association is a grassroots organization comprised of volunteer members from throughout the local region.
