Exit\, if you make it that far\, will be the public landing by Midway. Ages 16 and up\, a captain is required to be onboard your craft. Ages 15 and under will just be boats (no captain or passengers). Helmet required for captain/passengers (bike helmet\, football helmet\, Viking helmet\, whatever).\nBoats should be constructed with cardboard. Please only use non toxic materials. WE NEED YOUR HELP!\nSince the opening of the Kearney Water Trail\, there’s only a few thousand more boats around town\, and so many more people have enjoyed the calm waters and meandering tree lined green space gliding by. Lets celebrate together by starting a new summertime Kearney tradition\, and setting a record we can be proud of.\nBE PART OF HISTORY – grab your boat\, your board and buddy and meet us at the Yanney park put-in at 6:30pm on Thursday 7/29. Extra credit points for bringing someone new to kayaking or watersports.\n**everyone welcome! **no membership required **BYOB (boat/board/buddy) **Float time from Yanney to Midway estimate at 30-45 minutes. **this is not a sanctioned or organized event\, however we will have members ready to assist to shuttle from the take-out behind Midway Auto. The best plan will be to drop off your boats at Yanney\, then drive to the take-out landing where we can help facilitate rides back to the put-in.

If you’re early that’s fine\, if you’re later that’s also fine we will see you at the fire. We encourage everyone to arrange transport but there will be plenty of people to catch a ride with so no worries. Kearney Paddle Sports is located at 535 Avenue M\, Kearney Ne. when you arrive at this location just follow the sign on Ave. M East through the RV park\, the road will dead-end at the boat ramp. Bring a friend! See you there!
