DESCRIPTION:Decorate your boats and yourself in Red\, White & Blue and float from Yanney Park to Kearney Paddle Sports where we will enjoy a fire and some social time as a group\, be sure to bring a beverage and a chair. Leave a vehicle at Kearney Paddle Sports beforehand and plan on launching around 7:00 pm. This will be a great time of day to beat the heat and still leave plenty of daylight to complete the float. If you’re early that’s fine\, if you’re later that’s also fine we will see you at the fire. We encourage everyone to arrange transport but there will be plenty of people to catch a ride with so no worries. Kearney Paddle Sports is located at 535 Avenue M\, Kearney Ne. when you arrive at this location just follow the sign on Ave. M East through the RV park\, the road will dead-end at the boat ramp. Bring a friend! See you there!

DESCRIPTION:Time to party like its 2014! You’ve heard of a flash mob? This is a “Splash Mob!”\nWe’re trying to break the all-time record for boats (and boards) on the Kearney Water Trail at one time! WE NEED YOUR HELP!\nSince the opening of the Kearney Water Trail\, there’s only a few thousand more boats around town\, and so many more people have enjoyed the calm waters and meandering tree lined green space gliding by. Lets celebrate together by starting a new summertime Kearney tradition\, and setting a record we can be proud of.\nBE PART OF HISTORY – grab your boat\, your board and buddy and meet us at the Yanney park put-in at 6:30pm on Thursday 7/29. Extra credit points for bringing someone new to kayaking or watersports.\n**everyone welcome! **no membership required **BYOB (boat/board/buddy) **Float time from Yanney to Midway estimate at 30-45 minutes. **this is not a sanctioned or organized event\, however we will have members ready to assist to shuttle from the take-out behind Midway Auto. The best plan will be to drop off your boats at Yanney\, then drive to the take-out landing where we can help facilitate rides back to the put-in.
